Resident Project Representative (Inspector)
Acts as the Engineer's agent and works under the supervision and
direction of the Engineer. General responsibilities include
conducting on-site obserations to monitor conformance with the
contract documents; serving as the Engineer's liaison with the
contractor; maintaining adequate records including a daily diary of
log book and a set of drawings on which authorized changes are
noted; reviewing the contractor's application for payment;
and other duties as assigned. The Grade I classification
involves relatively straight-forward construction project
assignments like water lines while the Grade IV classification may
involve complex assignments like treatment plant construction
assignments.
The selected candidate must be willing to
travel.
