Chrisney Breaks Ground on 2nd OCRA Project
On Tuesday, August 30, 2011 the Town of Chrisney celebrated the
start of construction on storm drainage improvements with a ground
breaking ceremony. Various federal, county, and local elected
officials were present to celebrate with the Town. In
December 2010, the Town was awarded a grant in the amount of
$983,500 from the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs for
the needed improvements. The ceremony took place in front of
the Chrisney Community Apartments, which has experienced flood in
recent years due to storm water.
